Current is American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer based out of Kansas City, Kansas originally from Birmingham, Alabama. His music has been heavily influenced by hip-hop, RnB, electronic, and Lo-Fi. Current originally started strictly as a producer and released only instrumentals prior to 2022 including his first beat tape Beats to Think to, Vol. 1 released at the start of 2020. During pharmacy school, music was more of a hobby for Current as he pursued his degree. After graduating from pharmacy school in 2021, Current decided to pursue music full time after moving to Kansas City. As a 25-year-old ready to make an impact, Current is dedicated more than ever on finding his unique sound and voice in a world full of artists.
